Tuesday Library Tea
Every first Tuesday of the month from 3:30 to 4:30pm, visit with Library staff and fellow patrons for a "cuppa" and treats. This is the perfect opportunity to find out more about Library programs, how to volunteer, new materials, or your Library staff -- and to offer kudos, complaints, suggestions, what-have-you! We take a break during July and August -- see you in September!

Scrapbooking with Lisa

On the third or fourth Tuesday evening of the month at 6:00 join Lisa Bunce to make an easy and beautiful page for your scrapbook. Five dollars material fee. Call 876.4479 to register.

Thursday Toddler/Pre-School Story Time
Every Thursday morning at 10:30am, join us for a picture book story time. Our story time features a special craft or songs as well as a selection of stories based on a different theme. Best for ages two and up, who are able to listen to longer stories and do more complex crafts.

Thursday Friendly Meals
Every month at Friendly Meals, there will be a selection of large print and audio books available to take home. Requests are always welcome -- simply call the Library ahead at 876.4479.

Elizabeth Richards Summer Concert Series
Each summer, the Library sponsors a series of Summer Lawn Concerts during July and August. Each concert runs from 7 to 8 pm and feature some of the area's most popular and interesting musicians. These concerts are brought each summer through generous donations; please contact the Library at 876.4479 if you wish to give.

Summer Reading Program
Each summer the Library participates in the statewide children's summer-long series of programs, reading incentives, and activities. The theme for 2008 is Australia: "G'Day for Reading".
