  1. World Book Online

We are pleased to be able to offer our patrons access to the World Book Online, a wonderful online version of the trusty encyclopedia.

The World Book Online is an excellent way to begin your research on a topic, or to learn more about a topic you are interested in. The Online version includes everything that makes the print version great -- a concise, easy-to-read style, lots of pictures, lists of related topics -- and combines it with over 8,000 more articles and thousands more pictures, photos, maps, films, and sound clips. Importantly, it also contains links to editor-approved web sites, a boon to any student needing to have Internet resources for a report.

You need a login and a password to access the World Book Online. Call the Library at 876.4479 for the login and password. You will only need to do so once.
