| Audio Books | This collection consists of unabridged non-fiction and fiction on cassette and compact disc. Look for most future purchases of audio books to be on cd. We also participate in the NH Downloadable Audio Book Consortium, which allows you to download audio books to your computer or mp3 player. Visit the collection at: |

| Children's Materials | The library has children's materials available in a variety of formats including books, magazines, stories and music on cassette, videos, and a variety of special collections including foreign language books, Great Stone Face- and Ladybug Award-winning books. |
| Computer and Internet Use | The library has access to the Internet using Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox, as well as a high-speed wireless network (WiFi). The public computer also has Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. To connect to our wireless network, you need a laptop with an 802.11g-compatible wireless card. |
| Events | Each month features different events for adults and children from picture book story times to adult book discussions. Check the library newsletter or the programs page for this month's calendar. |
| Friends of the Library | The Friends of the Library is dedicated to helping the Library further its mission. The Friends hold an Annual Book Sale on Columbus Day to help support their endeavors, including home delivery of books, supporting the Summer Reading Program and other events, and purchases for the Library itself, including an air conditioning unit and a new rug for the Children's Room. | Interlibrary Loan | If you are looking for a book that you are unable to find in the library you may request that we borrow it from another library through Interlibrary Loan. ILLs usually take about one to two weeks to arrive. |
| Large Print Books | The library has a collection of large print books, both fiction and non-fiction. Every three months, our collection is supplemented by a group of books from the New Hampshire State Library. |
| Magazines | The library currently subscribes to more than 40 magazines, which include Ranger Rick and National Geographic for Kids in the children's room, and such varied titles in the adult room as Consumer Reports, Cooking Light, Country Living, MAD, Martha Stewart Living, Mother Earth News, Exploring Natural New England, New Hampshire, The New Yorker, Oprah, People, and the three major news weeklies. | Meeting Space | Meeting space is available for community organizations. Stop by the library to fill out the application form and get a copy of our building usage policy. |
| Newspapers | The library subscribes to several newspapers, which include The Keene Sentinel, The Union Leader, The Wall Street Journal, and The Monadnock Shopper. |
| NHewLink | NHewLink is a free resource for all of our Library patrons provided by the New Hampshire State Library. There are several databases available at home; see our databases page for more information. You will need your library card number for access. In the Library, you can access Ancestry Library, another valuable tool for genealogical research. |
| Reader's Advisory | The library staff is more than happy to help you find the next great thing to read. Aside from our staff of readers, we have a subscription to The New York Times Book Review and access to NoveList, an online reader's advisory service, to help you decide. |
| Reference Services | The Library has reference materials including everything from dictionaries and encyclopedias to maps to telephone books to works on a variety of other subjects. Please note: the Library cannot assist with genealogical searches, either in the Library or through email requests. | Senior Services | The Frost Free Library has many services for seniors including book delivery to the homebound, large print books, audio books, materials available at Friendly Meals, community programs and resources for seniors, a Video Eye for magnification, and an accessible entry and bathroom. |
| Video Collection | A large collection of children's, feature, and special interest videos are available for check out for one week. Look for most future purchases to be made on DVD. |
| Video Eye | The Video Eye, purchased by the Monadnock Lions Club of Marlborough, is installed and ready for use in the library's adult reading area. The Video Eye can magnify anything to make for easier reading: come in and magnify your checkbook, your taxes, your book, or the newspaper! |
